Friday Favorites: 9 IKEA Products You Should Know About

Happy Friday! I don’t know about you, but I am such a sucker for new IKEA products. I get so excited walking the showroom and over eager to buy the new decor pieces for my home. And sometimes, unfortunately, I find that a few months later I just don’t actually like the product at all. They look cheap, or too dorm-like, or are just an unnessecary piece of clutter. It’s a problem that I am working on :P

Well today I am talking about my favorite IKEA pieces that I think are totally worth the hype and I actually use in my home everyday! Some are more about style and others more about function. Check out my favorites list below…

And in case you missed any of these posts, here are a few of my IKEA hack projects if you’re looking to get creative with your newest IKEA purchase:

DIY Desk Flip Calendar (IKEA LERBODA Frame Hack)

IKEA Rast Nightstand Hack

9 IKEA PRODUCTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT

  1. GRADVIS Plant Mister - if you have any REAL plants in your home (and believe me when I say I have very very few), this plant mister is such a stylish piece that even looks good sitting out (and helps you remember to water your plant babies!)

  2. MOPPE Mini Storage Chest - The MOPPE mini drawer set is a great organizational tool for storing smaller items like makeup, toiletries, craft supplies, tools, office supplies, etc. And its a fun unfinished piece with unlimited DIY potential!

  3. ÅSKMULLER Lamp - This is the perfect little lamp for any small shelving because it is lightweight but gives off a cozy glow in the evenings.

  4. ROMDRUP Rug - IKEA has some really cute rugs and some really not cute rugs, this is a cute one. I think it is super neutral and can go with a lot of different interior design styles, and it has held up well even with our little pup!

  5. PÄRLBAND Tealight Holder - Just a fun inexpensive decor piece to add a touch of gold to your styling.

  6. RÅSKOG Utility Cart - Super useful and good quality cart for storing and organizing items in a bathroom, craft room, laundry room, etc.

  7. KORKEN Jar - These are the best jars if you’re into the trend of decanting your pantry goods. They come in a ton of sizes too.

  8. SYNNERBY Mirror - I love this vanity mirror. It has a very classic style that, again, would work great with any interior. Its a great size and is an easy way to setup your own vanity with a piece of thrifted furniture.

  9. SÄLLSKAPLIG Carafe - The SALLSKAPLIG line is one of my favorites at IKEA. This carafe looks way more vintage & expensive than it is and it can look cute left out on a bar cart or to use while hosting a dinner party.

What are your go-to IKEA products that you recommend? Have you bought any recently that you later regretted?
