Friday Favorites: Back to School Supplies
I know thinking about summer ending and the school year beginning is always a bit of drag but we have entered that sweet spot of the late summer when that impending doom is momentarily concealed by the pure joy of… you guessed it, new school supplies.
My kryptonite. A cute pencil case, colored folders, stretchy book covers, colored highlighters… and don’t even get me started on middle school when locker decor became a thing. I’m at the age now where I’m fully done with school, like I’ve already celebrated my 10 year high school reunion and am going on 8 years since college. But do I still walk around the Back to School section at Target? Yes, yes I do.
I’m not sure what it is about new office supplies — maybe the feeling of a clean start? or the creative and organizational potential? — but I know I am not the only one.
