Halloween Decor Home Tour

Happy Halloween week! If you know me, you know there’s little that brings me more joy than seasonal home decor. I truly cannot be trusted in a Home Goods around this time of the year. As my collection of Halloween/fall decor expands, my storage closet has become almost impossible to open. But as soon as the first chilly day arrived here in Los Angeles, I tore open my plastic tubs and covered the house in a layer of cozy holiday cheer.

And because I know that I am a sucker for getting a glimpse inside people’s homes, today I’m sharing a few images of how I styled my Halloween decor around my own apartment for your nosy viewing pleasure!

I am loving these trendy ceramic pumpkins available at Target this year. They are very life-like without the late in the season stench of rotting pumpkin. They are also a very classic decor piece that can be used for many years to come. I am also obsessed with this metal cut out haunted house that I got from Home Goods a few years back. It’s a perfect place for fall scented pillar candles and can look good with any design style; farm house, modern, or eclectic. Here is a similar one from Joann’s.

The next stop in my home is, of course, a #shelfie moment. I love switching up my shelf decor for the season. This year I included one of Target’s woven cattail leaf pumpkins, which adds some fun texture, and I love this bat candle made a few years back by my friend Ashlee of Bourbon & Rose! It was a super cute and easy DIY with her Cricut machine and an inexpensive glass candle. It’s almost too cute for me to ever burn so I just continue to display it every year. And the bar cart would not be complete without this ADORABLE glowing ceramic ghost that Daniel and I found at Home Goods this year and just had to have!

And if you’re wondering, YES we are those people that got a French bulldog and cannot stop ourselves now from crying over the cuteness of all frenchie related paraphernalia. So we did in fact purchase the french bulldog skeleton so that Kevynn could get in on the festive decor this year as well. We are pretty sure Kevynn has no idea that she is made up of bones though so it doesn’t scare her, don’t worry.

Speaking of spooky skeletons, this wooden skeleton figure is SO fun. When Daniel and I saw this at the store we thought it was another one of those classic decor pieces that will last for many years and we had this big blank wall space to fill, so here lies Oscar, our spooky skeleton roommate.

And last but not least, I of course had to put up our Halloween Gallery wall again this year. It is such a statement piece and I love it so much. If you’re interested in seeing the whole thing or want to get some inspiration for your own Halloween themed gallery wall, check out the blog post here.

I’m currently in the middle of completing my Halloween movie bucket list for the year, some of my favorites this year included Dr. Sleep, Sleepy Hollow, and the new Netflix series Midnight Mass. I hope your week is full of lots of festive Halloween movies, too much candy, and pumpkin flavored everything. Happy Halloween!
