The Debut Era Party | Taylor Swift Eras Tour Party Mood Boards

I’m starting a new series on the blog today that I’m SUPER excited about!! I’ve been religiously following #SwifTok over the last few weeks as the Eras tour has kicked off here in the US. And I have come to realize that there are few things that brings this country together quite like Taylor Swift fandom. Is anyone else obsessed with trying to guess the surprise song each night??

One of my absolute favorite things about this tour is seeing everyone’s era-specific costumes and outfits on social media. I will sadly not be attending the Eras Tour, but I still wanted to participate in all the hysteria around these 10 epic albums. So if you’re a Swiftie you know that each of these albums has a completely different feel and aesthetic to them, based on the lyrics, album covers, marketing, music videos, tour design, clothing, and just the general vibe of Taylor’s life at that time. And while I have seen a lot of people putting together round ups and mood boards of clothing inspired by each era, I have yet to see anyone style parties based on the albums.

I thought this would be a fun challenge, and might help out anyone who is looking to do some entertaining in anticipation of the upcoming concert in their city this summer. So without further ado, here’s my mood board for a small town, rustic, country, garden party that encapsulates Taylor Swift’s self titled debut album. Enjoy!

TAYLOR SWIFT’S ERAS TOUR PARTY MOOD BOARD: THE DEBUT ERA

  1. Nothing says 2006 quite like taking endless photos with your best friends, so grab an Instax camera to document the event (& of course a perfect nod to Picture to Burn)

  2. This floral fabric bunting is very much giving “early 2000s country garden party” to me

  3. Create your own centerpiece of wildflowers like this country wedding — all you need are some rustic wood slices, blue tinted canning jars, natural jute twine, and flowers

  4. This butterfly dessert stand is perfect for displaying some cute baked goods & treats

  5. Hang up a few of these solar LED lanterns that sparkle like fireflies for the perfect summer evening ambiance

  6. A classic linen-blend tablecloth is a great staple for entertaining

  7. Decorate your space with these magical tiffany blue 3D butterflies — they would look extra cute glued onto drink straws or used as cupcake toppers

  8. How fun are these paper daisy flower napkins??

  9. These pistachio paper plates are the perfect spring garden party shade

  10. Lay this burlap table runner down the middle of your tablescape for a casual rustic look

  11. These gold cowboy boot bottle openers would make a super cute party favor and a nod to Taylor’s country roots

  12. Disposable wooden cutlery set is a must for a casual rustic event

What is your favorite song from Taylor Swift’s self titled debut album? I think mine would have to be “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My).” Aghh I still can’t believe Taylor was 16 when she wrote these songs?! Icon.
