Friday Favorites: Coffee Table Books

We are pretty much obsessed with our new coffee table. (We had it built just about a year and half ago so I don’t know if we can actually still call it new, but what year are we even living in now? Who knows…) When Daniel and I got married we found ourselves accumulating quite the collection of art prints (check out our Shopping for TV & Movie Art Prints on Etsy post or the Halloween Gallery Wall post for more info on all things art prints!) and we wanted an easy solution to store art that wasn’t currently being displayed. So we opted for a refurbished steel flat file coffee table that has become one of our favorite furniture pieces.

It’s got a huge wooden table top which is perfect for game nights or hosting a bunch of friends over for movie nights. Or plenty of room for us to eat dinner while catching up on our latest TV show fixation (currently: Succession — anyone else obsessed???) while also providing plenty of storage, perfect for apartment living. Since the tabletop has a ton of room, I like to add a bit of decor on top, which brings me to today’s post…

I’m introducing a new series on the blog today called Friday Favorites where I share some home decor favorites that I’ve found while window shopping online to bring you some style inspiration or help you find something you might be in the market for! Today I’m sharing a list of some of my current favorite coffee table books…

I think coffee table books make a great decor piece because not only are they a fun and functional item to collect, they can also add some great color to a space and also be a fun way to add some personality to your interior design through highlighting a hobby you enjoy or a vacation spot you love. Check out some of my current favorites below!

My coffee table must haves these days include cute coffee table books, spring candles, a glass of afternoon iced coffee, our Apple TV remote, and a jar of dog treats for easy access since Kevynn barks at literally any moving object on the television screen (mostly horses). What are your must have items in arms length while lounging on the sofa?
