Marbled Valentine's Day Beads

Step 1: Roll pink/red clay into small balls and white clay into larger balls.

Step 2: Roll out the balls into long strips of clay.

Step 3: Cut the long strips into smaller pieces and stick the small pieces together. Alternate clay colors.

Step 4: Roll these pieces into one large ball. Twist the clay as you roll to create the marbled effect.

Step 5: Use a toothpick to poke a hole in the clay to form the bead hole.

Step 6: Bake clay beads according to polymer clay package instructions.

Valentine's Day Tassels

Step 7: I used a small notebook to help me create my yarn tassels. Cut a small piece of yarn and place along the top of your notebook. Wind yarn around notebook about 10 times.

Step 8: Now use the first piece of yarn to tie all the loops together.

Step 9: Pull the yarn loops off the notebook carefully. Cut another small piece of yarn and use this to tie the yarn in the center.

Step 10: Cut the yarn loops to complete the tassel.

Step 11: Create a loop at the bottom of your garland rope to use for hanging the garland.

Step 12: Alternate with stringing on a marble bead and tassel to your garland rope. Create a knot on either side of each bead or tassel to secure the piece in place. I left about a 4-finger-width between each bead or tassel.

Step 13: Continue stringing and knotting until you reach the end of your garland. Tie another loop on the end of the rope.

I hope this Valentine's day garland can add a cute touch of pink to your space! Wishing you a very happy Valentine's day surround by all the people you love and appreciate!

Cheers! - Rachael
