Shopping for TV & Movie Art Prints on Etsy

One of my favorite things to search for and collect are wall art prints. I’ve always been a huge fan of interesting typography and design and I think wall art is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to add some interest to your space. Whether it be a large statement piece, a series of related artwork, or a gallery wall, there are tons of ways to fill up a wall with art and it doesn’t have to be crazy expensive.

I also love that wall art is the perfect way to add some personality to your interior decor or show off an interest you have without it completely taking over the room. For example, my husband Daniel is obsessed with film art, so we have acquired quite a collection of prints related to movies and TV shows. So much so that we actually purchased a flat file coffee table for our living room to store our extra prints. Then we swap them out whenever we feel like it. If you haven’t already, check out my blog post on how I swap out our prints for Halloween!

Our favorite movie art prints are the ones that have some kind of reference to a movie without being a “movie poster” type of print, with the title, cast names, tagline, etc. It’s more fun when you really have to analyze the picture to figure out what you know that object, style, or line from. There are so many amazingly talented artists out there, so today I just wanted to share a few of my favorite movie and television inspired artwork pieces that I’ve recently seen on Etsy. Enjoy!

Some of these pieces are digital, meaning you are purchasing just the digital file that you will have to have printed yourself. And others are prints that will be shipped directly to you. Some benefits to the digital files are that they are typically a lot cheaper and you can have them printed in many different size options. I recommend using a website like Vistaprint or a local printer to have the images printed.

As far as frames, most of our frames are ones we have collected over time from IKEA or Michaels. You can find inexpensive frame options at either store in endless size options, and Michaels frequently has huge frame sales or coupons.

I love searching Etsy for wall art so maybe I will make this a series that I do more often on the blog. What are your all time favorites movies or tv shows that would make it up on your wall?
